Four Wheel Camper hard side/hard top info

Not much on this site (or anywhere) about them.

Anyone have any info/thoughts? There's a Hawk for sale that looks pretty decent. I'm curious what the shell would weigh in at. Would make a nice start on a relatively lightweight build. Not fussing with the tent aspect is worth the trade off in height for us.

Not sure anything could go on the roof though (canoe).. that's a negative.

The only hard side FWC I've come across was 1300lbs dry. While I like FWC for popups I don't think the would make my list for hard sides. There are a lot more options in the hard side world.

That being said the hard side FWC are super rare and if the price is right then the price is right so go for it.

Evidently they were made for 'wheeling just like the pop ups... fully welded Al, with emphasis on keeping weight low and low down.

Not many campers I can think of that fit that mold, but I'm no expert...

I would have a pretty bare bones setup.. bed, benches, basic tables, two burner camp stove, water jugs, 5 lb propane, etc. Could shave a bunch of weight I'd guess.
