Friday Fun Day

[4Rescue]

Well Whitney, my better half, decided to take today off so on a complete whim I suggested we head down to Pacific City and Cape Kiwandis with the underlying idea of getting to take the 4Runner on the beach... hehehehehehe... So as it turned out it was a somewhat typical Oregon coast day, but quite sunny along with the usual wind. Most of all I just got to get out on the road, get out of town and be with the girl I love.

I know these are nowhere near the quality of the pics alot of you guy's and gals are taking, but I'm using an older point and shoot Digi. All in all though I think the composition is pretty good, and to me that's the most important thing. I still miss my old Minolta 101 and the darkroom, but a nice example of the rule of thirds really makes me grin to this day. So I offer you, as Whitney put it... Friday Fun Day:

I am envious. When my wife and I were first married we lived in Beaverton for a time. We would take off on the weekends and just drive, we would end up in Tilamook and work our way south along the coast. I really like Lincoln City and Newport. It was fun to stop and watch the fishing boats, seals and such. We ended up making another trip after we moved back to Idaho. My wife was looking at finishing her Masters at OSU. There is some beautiful areas in Oregon. Nice photos, Thanks for sharing.
