How many of you keep your fridge hooked up and running in your DD JK when not exploring?

We keep it back there more often than not. Might be on or off depending. But we don't get in a rush to empty it, just leave it on. We keep milk and cheese for the kids in it a lot.
Nice just to have when grocery shopping even. Needing to make a stop with cold items is not a big deal. Love ours.

Still finishing my electrical system but my Engel MT45F Combi (https://www.engelcoolers.com/mt45f-u1.html) will be back there (replacing a cooler) full time once it is done. The best grocery shopping for us is 45+ minutes from home so it will be extra nice not needing to deal with ice / ice packs.

I leave mine in all of the time. Back in the spring I had no problem with it cutting off for low voltage. But now that summer is in full swing with highs of around 100 and lows in the high 70s, it seems like the battery can't quite keep up. So I plug it in to 120v over night. This is on a single battery with the fridge plugged in to the factory 12v in the back of the Jeep. It is possible the issue is just the voltage drop on wiring, I just haven't gotten around to wiring it in with heavier gauge wire yet. Oh yeah, I'm running a Dometic CFX-50us at 32F.

Nope. Why waste the energy? When we get home the baskets come out and get unloaded into the fridge in the house. The fridge is unplugged and left with the lid propped open.

Yes, all our suv's are wired for the fridge so it can be swapped if needed. With a good battery and wiring setup power is never an issue.

Our SnoMaster fridge is running 24/7. We installed a DC to DC dual battery system so we can charge off the vehicle alternator, Solar and shore power. If the Jeep is Parked and I’m not plugged in I can run the fridge for 10 days before the batteries need to re-charge. Let me know if you have any questions!

I tend to leave mine in there. During the summer I will take it out as my bike tends to be my DD at that point. I do need to eventually hard wire it though. I wired in some thicker gauge wire to run it from the battery vs the 12v back there since I was experiencing voltage drop and my cutoff would hit every time I shut the jeep off.

I haven’t done a write-up yet, no excuse just lazy about those things.
I have 2 VMaxx Tanks batteries under the rear seat bridged to support 110 amp/hour. VictronConnect battery monitor with blue tooth.
Also running a CTEK
