Front cam seal removal, help!

I cannot figure out how to get the front cam seals out. I have the cam gears off but not sure how to remove the seal. I bought a seal puller/installer kit but the little seal grabbers won't squeeze between the seal and cam. What do I do?

Thanks,
Aaron

Looks like I'm gonna have to take the valve cover off. Will I have access to the cam seal from the top of the head? I can see the inside of the head through the cam opening.

You don't need any special tool. Small screw driver, tap it in (outside of the seal not seal surface) and pry out. Simple.

I'm sorry but it isn't that simple. I did get it out today using the tool. I had to bend the metal on the seal a little in order to get my grabber arm to fit inside. The seal got pushed into the head so I couldn't grab it with anything. Used a pick to hold it while getting the tools grabber arm under the seal.
