front end knock

Howdy all,

Just noticed a very mild, but noticeable knock in my front end. Seems to be coming from my driver's side front wheel well (but I am not totally sure). Cannot tell if it is effected by steering. Seems to be when the weight rolls front the front to the back.

Any more learned folks have a clue what I might begin with? I'd love to track it down myself, but I am not the most mechanically inclined.

Year, model, and any modifications done to tires/wheels/suspension would be a helpful start.

Sorry - Should have put that in - 2004 Limited, bone stock, 160k.

Hmm, sway bar bushings, A arm bushings, and ball joints are all items to check and are pretty easy.

Thanks - can you give any info on the "how" of checking those?

Visually (cracked rubber) and by moving the front wheels when the rig is on stands.
