Receiver hitches

New bumper came in today with front receiver already inplace, just bolt it up. The bumper I ordered is an Olympic 4x4 rock series for my tj, I have one in the back and like it. I'll report when done and backed in my military trailer.

The hitch mount is a Bodiac, I don't think they make them anymore? It attaches to the front tow hooks with locking bolts. Install is easy and it supports 500 pounds tongue weight.

I simply cut down a rear trailer hitch, welded up and used as a tow bar mount.

Here is the one I made



We use it when traveling everywhere with 3 kids in the jeep its easy to get stuff in and out. As for approach angel I take it off and put it on the roof for the day if I need to.

I like them so much I have 3 receivers on the front of my rig. One hidden behind the license plate the other two just below the bumper and originally added for a custom snow plow mount I made, but they work great for shackles and recovery points too.
