FRP Flippac For Sale Price Drop!

SALE PENDING

The rig didn't sell so I'm parting out the pieces. For sale is an FRP Flippac. Its on my Nissan Titan which has a crew cab and 5'5" short bed. Flippac makes certain sized campers to fit multiple trucks and I don't know what other trucks this will fit but I would guess it would fit all fullsize crew cabs pickups with the extra short bed. Please do your research to be sure it will fit your truck.

The mattress died a few years ago so currently there is none. We use our old backpacking sleeping pads. You're welcome to those if you want them, or a piece of foam you can glue in should run you less than $100. The awning has sold separately so please ignore any pictures with it on or open. I added interior LED lights (white in one and red/white with two 12v outlets in the other). I also added exterior LED lights to both sides that illuminate in reverse and via a switch mounted to the rear lift window frame.

The rainfly is available separately as well and is listed in a separate auction, make and offer for both. This item is listed on multiple forums.

Ok sounds good I think it might be a little too big for my truck. I'll verify in the morning

(Don't know how to change the thread title!)

A moderator can change it for you...

I am shocked this hasn't sold. The used FlipPac market is practically non-existent. If I were in the market today, I might start thinking differently about my approach to buying. The most difficult piece is finding a FlipPac...ANY FlipPac. When one comes on the market, I'd buy it. Or at least find one that fits a truck I might be OK owning. Then go out and find a good truck. So, I wonder what else this FP will fit???

This pick-up truck bed size chart might help potential buyers find a fit for this beauty...

http://www.truckinamerica.com/toppers/BedSize.htm

It shows the bed size of the Titan as:
SB--Titan (Quad Cab) 04-07 L68 3/4" W70 3/4"-69"

Other trucks it might fit:
SB--Crew Max Tundra (5.5' Box) 07-11 L67" W71 1/4"-69"
5.5--F150 Super Crew 04-08 L68 1/2" W71 3/4"-68 1/2"
5.5--Lincoln Mark LTÂ 05-08 L68 1/2" W71 3/4"-68 1/2"
5.5 F150 EC (Super Cab) 04-08 L68 1/2" W71 3/4"-68 1/2"
5.7 Dodge CC (09 2500 & 3500= 08 Body) 09-11 L68 1/4" W72 3/4"-68"

Here is another chart that confirms the 04-05 F150 Supercrew might also fit:

Thanks for the charts Bill. As the charts confirm, I suspect it will fit any of the full size pickups with the double cab and the extra short bed.

...Ugh! Too far away!...Any interest in meeting up halfway, say around Denver CO...(LOL!).

I'd actually been thinking about calling up shops around you to see about getting your bumpers & flippac uninstalled from your T & then shipped to Boston for my T. Likely shops around my end wouldn't install the bumpers, but might the FP. Shipping & labor would likely kill the deal, but haven't spent my due diligence yet...

Actually, I need to go to Greeley soon to see my niece's new baby and pick up a large sign. For the right price, I could put the Flippac and bumpers on my flatbed Dodge and meet you in Colorado somewhere. My brother-in-law may just help us do the bumper swap in his shop in Greeley. PM me if you're serious about this option.

If you have a5.5' beef I am out of luck. Tac return is coming and I would love one, but my 06 SD has a 6.5' bed. Good luck.

Heck yeah! That would be great! (PM'd contact info)

I'd be looking at ~$1000 in gas, so that would surely be less than having them removed & shipped from California. It's ~30 hours drive one way, which is do-able for me.

Timing would be the issue I'd imagine, I work 8 nights on 6 nights off, so could make it to Greeley twice per month. Likely on a Saturday, perhaps a late Friday (I'd be pretty wiped from the drive, so not much help on install.).

My Titan is a white 2013 Pro-4X Crew Cab.

I'm not sure wether the front OL bumper will be a direct fit, but if your brother-in-law has a shop they could likely make something work.

The rear from what I understand should be direct fit, but again a shop might have to fiddle. If the shop can make them fit (with ease, without a several days wait), then you could have my OEM bumpers. Might help offset costs?

If your brother-in-laws shop couldn't make the OL's fit (without a couple days delay), then I'd have to keep my OEM bumpers & carry the OL's back in my bed.

My rear bumper has the sonar sensors, and I would like to keep them. I'd like to see if I can modify the offroad bumper to accept the sensors (I'd be happy to do that back at home).
