great info....it would be something that would be cool as an overlanders FAQ...
Often when I see threads like this here or on HUBB my first thought is "what do I do about ownership paperwork?"
and that is usually enough to kill the idea of a fly & buy & drive trip..
However if it were more common knowledge of how easy this sounds to make happen then more folks would jump at the chance.
Flight to Argentina for $700-$1000
Jeep $5500
Travel budget depends on timeframe
Then either post it up for resale, find a secure area to leave it and fly back for more trips or bring it all the way back to home.
Very cool and honestly better than a round trip driving deal when you think of it.
