FS: 2019 MOAB Fort XL Overland Camper Trailer - Ashland, Oregon - $11,500 ($10,500 without tent)
In excellent condition with newly-installed ~king bed iKamper tent. Super stout, thoughtfully designed and very well made overland camper trailer by MOAB/Bivouac Camping Trailers, an Arizona-based custom trailer manufacturer with background in aerospace engineering. We've put this through its paces as both a rugged, backcountry/overland trailer and a multi-family basecamp. It's a highly versatile, re-configurable, compact, no-nonsense, durable home away from home on wheels. Our family is growing and we are moving into a different camping setup. Built to spec today it would cost over $30k. The trailer barely shows any age and has been meticulously maintained by myself and its prior owner (I purchased here on Exped Portal in 2022). Dry weight is ~1700 lbs. You can tow this with a Prius if that's how you get your jollies. I'm happy to video chat, answer any questions, and send additional info. It looks a little like a dinky box on wheels, like many of the dinky boxes on wheels that have flooded the marketplace since the overland craze popped off, but I assure you this offers far more and is built to go just about anywhere you'd like to spend a week of your time.
PREMIUM FEATURES & UPGRADES
*Sleep System: iKamper X-Cover 2.0 RTT with upgraded mattress set and upgraded padded ladder steps (this is the soft sided tent shown in some of the photos)
*Power & Water: 12v electrical system with new battery, 120w solar panel/charger, 400w inverter, 10amp battery charger, Noco battery charger, propane-fueled instant hot water heater for showers and clean dishes, 18-gallon fresh water tank with Shurflo pump and digital gauge (one or two 7 gallon drinking water jugs nest behind the tongue box as well, allowing for carrying up to 32 gallons of water - we use the on-board tank for showers/dishes and drink from the jugs).
*Kitchen Setup: Rear slide-out galley with ICECO 12v fridge/freezer, Camp Chef Everest stove, sink with adjustable sprayer, dual stainless steel swing-out table tops
*Propane System: 20lb tank with piped connections to galley and instant hot water heater (disguised jerry can)
*Off-Road Ready: USA-built aluminum frame, heavy-duty axle-less suspension, full-size spare tire (31") on swing tailgate, off-road Jeep tires/wheels, and an articulating hitch; bearings recently professionally repacked
*Convenience Features: 23Zero 180° awning (on height-adjustable slides) over kitchen, rear flood lights, LED light in storage boxes, shovel/axe quick-fist mounts, 2" rear hitch (125lb capacity), and dual stabilizer jacks
[The photos range in age from 2022 until now. The only difference is the tent has been replaced with a larger one, the table removed (we use a rolltop table that packs down small), and the sprayer for the sink upgraded. You'd not know some of these photos are 2-3 years old, the traielr has been garage-kept when not in use and shows very little sign of use.]
