FS: (5) BFG KM2 255/85R16 - only 3,000 miles, 95% tread

Tires have only been used for 3,000 miles, nearly all of it on soft dirt roads. Tires look nearly brand new. Have been used for travel from point A to point B, not for rock crawling, etc. and no sidewall damage or punctures.

$650 for five tires.

Notes: Wheels are not included. Buyer must buy all five tires; I'm not interested in selling individual tires or four out of five. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost. Tires will ship in mid- to late July from Chicago, Illinois.

These are great tires. I ran the 285/75R16 version of these tires on my FJ Cruiser and the 255/85R16 is even better. I would have kept running them, but had an opportunity to get five new Michelin XZL's to replace them.

Paypal accepted. Note that you will not receive these tires until late July due to my travel plans: I will ship them to you as soon as I'm back in the U.S. in July. Of course, you will not be expected to pay until they ship (but I want to find a buyer before then - so speak up if you're interested in five of these tires for $650 but willing to wait two months to get them).

No deposit or anything needed. I just ask that you only say you're going to buy them if you actually are. Thanks.

I will take them!! I can get them shipped relatively cheap if you can just strap them to a pallet and drop at Forward Air terminal.
Thanks!! I use this size on the Rovers as well as the Suburban.
Cheers

Perfect. Thanks, Dale - your name's on them, so to speak.

I'll reach out in July as soon as I'm back in the States and we can arrange payment/shipping at that time.

Sorry I can't ship them sooner! :( But I promise I'll ship them ASAP once I get back to the States in July! :)

Hey,
If for some reason anything changes, I'll jump in line as a backup. Should be driving through Chicago this summer but could also ship just across the boarder.
Thanks, James.

Here are recent pics (taken yesterday) of the tires.

As soon as I get back to the States I'll have them dismounted and headed toward Rovertrader (or if Rovertrader doesn't want them, then tank87 and if tank87 doesn't want them, then dreammachine).

Tread depth (about the same on all tires, this is the left front):

I am committed, no worries ;-)
However, I am a bit off the grid mid June thru mid July, so please be patient if I am slow to respond during that time frame- seems the shark school is growing ;-)
Also, please send me PMs in case I don't check here on the thread consistently. I would prefer shipping via Forward Air if you don't mind. Simply put a pallet in the truck bed/trailer/whatever, stack the tires, use 2 or 3 tiedown straps, and ride over to airport. They will unload with a forklift, and I will have label ready and waiting- just need to coordinate when you are ready...
Thanks!!
Cheers
Dale

Wanted to give an update on this - we're here in South Sudan for another two weeks; I should be back in the States on August 9th and will contact you (Rovertrader) over that weekend or on Monday, August 12th to get these on their way to you. Apologies for the delay. From not-very-good wifi at the UNOPS compound in Juba, Containerized

I'm still good- although in AZ the week of the 5th, and Fl the two weeks after that. Email is on my website, and I will be checking in when I can. Thanks for the update, and hope all is well!! I will get you paid when you are ready, and arrange shipping as stated above- just need them on a pallet to Forward Air if at all possible.
Funny, just reading the initial post, and I have a set of 8.25 XZLs I have been running on the 110, but like the 255s on the 130.
Cheers!!

Just arrived back in the States. Can ship the tires on Monday.

Rovertrader, can you reach out via PM or on email (rhetoric at uchicago dot edu) with your shipping info?

Or let me know if you're not interested and I'll move on to tank87 with no hard feelings.

Assuming you're still interested, you can paypal to that same uchicago.edu address...

Thanks!
