Sold!
The check is in the mail. When it arrives, I plan to make a small contirbution to help fund the Expediton Portal. I had a buyer in less time than it took me to write the description.
Thanks, ExPo.

For sale:
Integrated expedition vehicle drawer, storage, table system
This is an integrated storage system with six drawers and two tables. When fully deployed, it affords five feet of horizontal work surface at a convenient 30-inch work height plus six sturdy drawers of various heights. It will fit well in the rear of most SUVs.
This is an NOS (new, old stock) military surplus medical supply cabinet. The construction is spot-welded aluminum. The tables fold up and fasten securely to the main cabinet with twelve snap latches. Each table has an integrated weather seal to keep dust and water out when the unit is stowed. There is also a built-in pressure equalization valve for airborne operations, should you be planning them. Two flush-mount lifting handles make the unit easy to carry and move. I suggest two people for that.
The modular design allows you to use and deploy the system in several configurations. You can mount the cabinet and drawers in your vehicle and detach one or both tables as needed. The main cabinet can stay in the vehicle or be set up with the tables as a free-standing unit.
With everything stowed, the overall dimensions are approximately 30" high by 18" wide by 19"deep. The six drawers range from about 7-1/4" to 2-1/4 inches in height. Weight is approximately 86 pounds.
Unfortunately, this drawer system does not meet my current needs as its vertical height is too tall for my open pickup bed. But it will work well in an enclosed vehicle. The pictures show it sitting on the tailgate of a mid-size truck with a camper shell.
Click either photo to see more details.
Asking price is $215. The unit is currently located in Gardnerville, Nevada, about an hour south of Reno and about a half-hour from Lake Tahoe. I can deliver it at no charge to the Overland Expo in Prescott, Arizona in April. Other delivery arrangements are possible by mutual consent. Shipping is also possible at your expense. Weight may be an issue there. I still have the original cardboard box the thing came in but it has come apart with age. I would not recommend shipping it in this box without further protection.
I'm happy to answer any questions. Feel free to shoot me a private message regarding delivery and other details.
