For sale is my ARB Elements 63 quart fridge. This was purchased just over a year ago and was only used on 3 short trips. It was used under a waterproof Diamondback bed cover, and has been stored in my garage while not in use. The unit is basically in like-new condition except for a few light scratches on top of the lid where something was set on top of it. Includes the AC and DC power cables. I will also include the ARB tie down kit, an ARB flush mount DC power outlet, and a custom slide that was made for it.
The slide was designed to fit a short bed 3rd generation Tacoma, but it can really be used in virtually any application. It is made using 48" long Fulterer heavy duty (fire engine-grade) full-length slides, which lock in both the "out" and "in" positions. The base frame is made from 3"x3"x1/4" L-shaped aluminum, and the tray is made from 3/16" thick L-shaped aluminum. There is a 14" space behind the fridge with a plywood bottom, where you can store virtually anything. There is also a removeable plywood insert for the main part of the tray, which I would insert for "everyday use" to hold groceries, etc. This thing is absolutely beefy, and will hold up to the toughest conditions! Here is a link to a thread where I outlined the full build: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/custom-48-long-aluminum-fridge-slide.713746/#post-25388686
The Elements fridge is a fantastic unit, which is built for some serious abuse and has tons of security and convenience features. It is ruggedized, and can be used 24/7 while exposed to the elements (hence the name). I've even seen videos of people fording river crossings with this fridge mounted to a swing-out carrier on their hitch. It has a stainless steel exterior construction, large plastic bumpers at the edges and corners, overbuilt metal hinges and latches, an electronic locking door, a slot for a manual padlock, a digital control panel, an interior light and reversible basket, a gas strut that will hold the door open in any position.... the list goes on.
We are upgrading to a large travel trailer with built-in fridge, and I will no longer need this unit. The fridge retails for $1649 plus $49 for the tie down kit. I also spent $550 building the slide. Asking $1300 for the full setup. Local pickup in the Murrieta/Temecula area of Southern California, or I also travel to northern San Diego County (Rancho Bernardo) on Tuesdays and Wednesdays each week.
