Have to admit, I am a little confused? This one, still for sale is the 1600 series III? Correct? And the photos from page 1 on this thread appear that you ladder is covered? If so the link to Equipe's web pictures do no appear covered? Do you have a picture from the ladder side of the tent?

Yes the 1600 Series III is still for sale. The one pictured. I believe your confusion stems from the fact that some of the images on Paul's site that do not have the rain fly attached. The rain fly is attached in the pictures above which provides a margin of protection during the rain when entering the tent. It also allows you to sleep with the end windows open during the rain. All Eezi Awn tents come with a rain fly.
