Edit: forgot to put location; Pearl, MS 39208

A couple of years ago while camping in a little 4 person tent, the weather got really wet and my wife told me "go get the biggest tent you can find". Her idea being she wanted room to stay dry in. Well I went out and bought her the Eureka Extended Stay. 19.5' x 19'; split bwtween a tent and a screen room. She loved it; of course she never had to put it up, I did. It's a 12 pole tent that takes a bit of work to put up by youself (about 20 minutes). Anyway, we used it 2 or 3 times and packed it away for the last 2 years now. The tent is in great shape and I hate to see it just sit there. I'm afraid that in a few more years packed away it would begin to dry rot. Well I don't want to see that happen; I'd rather sell it.

All that said; $225 + shipping OBO. Fair warning I think this weighs about 50 pounds (haven't boxed it or weighed it yet; figured I'd wait to see what kind of interest it got).

PS: The wife does love the tent. When I pulled it today to put it up to take some pictures her comment was "I forgot how awesome that tent was" LOL

Yeah.. We did the same thing.. I've got this thing that has been dubbed the Tent-Mahal.. 14x24.. Main tent is 14x14 I think.. You can set two queen size mattresses up in it and have room to walk around 'em.. Then there's a covered porch on the front of the thing.. An absolutely great tent to camp in.. IF you can find a tent pad large enough to set up on and you've got two other folks willing to help you set it up rather than sit in the truck texting until camp is set up for them..

Haven't totally decided to sell it yet, but after working up a RTT, I don't see us really having a need for it for ourselves..

Good luck selling yours.. It's a pretty cool looking tent..

Mine isn't all that bad to setup. I took it today after not using it for 2 years and it took me 20 minutes to set it up (without directions). Given that I've only set it up 2 or 3 times in the past I figure that isn't bad. I'm going to guess I could do it in 15 minutes by myself and 10 with my 12 year old lending a hand.

Mississippi has a reputation for drasticly changing weather. The old saying goes "if you don't like the weather here, give it 10 minutes it'll change"; and I think it's true. Well anyway the couple of times I've had this out camping with the family, we always manage to end up with some foul weather. This tent holds up pretty well to the wind if you tie it down properly and it has kept us all nice n dry. The porch has been nice; I've even cooked under it before and it holds a card table and 4 chairs nicely :)

Good luck with the sale.

I recently picked up one of cabela behemoth tents like 14 or 16' long for when we have a few people camping.

You are right though, these tents dont get used often and especially if you are working up a RTT its time to let it go.

Thanks; guess I'll try again in the spring; or just find a way to put it to use :)

Try CL, these things suck to ship. Mine is also around 50lbs or more. Only reason i bought it was there was no shipping, and the seller was in a similar situation and let it go for real cheap.
