Well, I've had this 2000 Grand Vitara Limited 2.5L V6 since 05 and it has been a great vehicle. The other day I went out to go to work and it won't move in any gear (automatic). Just sits there and revs like it's in netural. I'm told it's probally the transmission pump as the dipstick is showing fluid way up on the marks and will run around $600 to replace or I've seen complete low mileage transmissions for $450.
I was going to fix it but the wife was wanting something a little bigger with 3rd row seating so we just bought a Montero instead.
This thing is actually super clean and runs great. I'd say that the interior and exterior are at least an 8 out of 10. It's a Limited edition with beautiful leather seats and all the options. No cracks or splits on the seats at all. Starts and runs great, doesn't use any oil, 140k miles. Has never been in an accident, not even a fender bender.
If there is enough interest I may part it out, sell or trade for something interesting but i'd rather sell it as is to use the money for my B2600i diesel project.
It also has a Safari snorkle, 2" lift, rear air shocks, tow package, 29x8.50-16 BFG KO's, 5:12 tracker diffs, lockout hubs and RRO rock rails that have never seen a rock. LOL
This also has keyless entry/alarm and remote start, indash touch screen stereo system /CD/DVD player with headrest monitors for the younguns.
I'm asking $3200 as is.
