FS Sacramento, CA: Ram 2500 (14+) Carli 3.25” Pintop Suspension System

I ran this Carli setup on my Ram 2500 for about three months, putting less than 1000 miles on everything (my truck sits for the most part, unfortunately). After too many complaints from the misses about the height, I decided to move down to the Carli 2.5” setup.

All purchased from CJC Off-road, the shocks were run on their test truck, and have a small amount of wear. The shocks are dirty in the photos, along with the rest of the setup, but there is very minimal wear on them. Just wanted to be completely transparent.

Includes:
-King 2.5 Front Remote Reservoir Shocks
-King 2.5 Rear Piggyback Reservoir Shocks
-Carli front progressive coil springs
-Carli R2 rear coil springs
-Billet Extended Rear Swaybar Links
-Carli Rear bump stop drop brackets
-Carli front remote reservoir shock mounts
-Rear brake line relocation tab

This is everything you’ll need to run this setup, minus the following:
-Adjustable track bar
-Front bump stop drops
-Radius arm drops
-Transmission crossmember bolts

Asking $3250 OBO. Local pickup in Sacramento preferred, however willing to meet to deliver a reasonable distance. Will ship at buyers expense.

I don't want to step on your thread, how about another thread with your thoughts on the rear coils?

I can only speak on ride quality unloaded, as I never got a chance to tow my tractor/trailer combo weighing in at roughly ~13klbs., however the on road, unloaded ride quality was much better than stock. The stock springs are stiff and unforgiving, since they’re not a progressive coil. You basically get all or nothing. The R2 coils provide a softer than stock feeling that absorb deep hits (pot holes, railroad crossings, etc.) in a controlled, consistent manner.

Overall, I was very impressed with the ride quality, and knowing I wasn’t sacrificing towing capacity was very comforting.

Thanks for sharing. I am running Thuren stock height but SOFT rate coils in the rear. They're too soft, and with about 500 lbs in the back with my pop top and full spare/tire carrier, it sags. Was thinking of doing bags and cradles, but likely will go with the R2 coil route. CJC also recommended it over the bags they said.

I run bags on my truck but at stock height since I tow pretty frequently but I know CJC recommends Sumo springs. I’ve run them in the past on various rigs and they’re pretty good.

Still FS. Willing to sell separate components to make some room in the garage!

Have a box to ship the R2 rear coils? I'm interested in those. Let me know dimensions and weight and your address in a PM, I will calculate my own shipping cost using my UPS account.
