$257 buy now price? Im not familiar with this book so do they really go for that much? I see that it is out of print but thats a lot of money for a book

The first edition VDEG was definitely going for that (or more), but I haven't seen enough of the revised version from 2008 to know. I guess we'll find out.

That said, I do have a second copy, still in wrapping, that I'm hoping will fund my retirement in 30 or so years.

I've had the 1998 edition since '99 I think... It really is a very impressive book, but $257?!?!

I just looked on Abebooks, and the prices on the five copies listed range from $214 to $378! Good grief.

If anyone badly needs a copy for $200, PM me and I'll think it over...
