Perhaps a silly question that's been already asked, but can one wrench be used for both fuel & water cans?

I'm interested, and will likely buy a fuel wrench (I'd like the gas can sealed up nice, but with little "stress" opening it when/if I need it).

It'd be handy if it could also be used for my water can. Both are scepter if that matters.

sadly they cant, i have been thinking of making a thinner 1/2" one for both that way its cheaper and not as bulky to store
