Upgraded to General last year and this has sat ever since. I thought I'd put it to use as a base radio, but that'd happen by now if ever. Sooo, it goes.
In addition to the radio and matched quad-band antenna is the programming software and interface cable.
The antenna has a folding feature and has been fortified with some marine heat shrink (thicker and adhesive-lined) over the loading coils, a trick my father showed me. Works wonders for minmizing vibration and tree limb damage.
It comes pre-programmed with most of the usable repeaters for California mountain and desert regions from the Mex border to central California and all So Cal metro area repeaters and linked systems.
