Full fiberglass camping shell

All of pics i try and upload it says too large. I'll try n resize them and get them posted.

I detached a 1980 toyota sunrader campershell from its 1980 chasis to mount on my 2012 tacoma, but I don't know how to extend my frame. So maybe someone with tge skills, tools and dream can do something with this.

Asking $4,500 or best offer

I have completely gutted it. No wires, no plumbing, no wood.
Completely blank canvas. Previous owner had no common sense and positioned the electrical box and wire ball using wire nuts below the sink direct drain. Which was not the only issue So I just gutted it down to the bones.

Currently sitting on a snowmobile trailer. The wood you see coming out of it is just scrap 2x4s and various other scrap wood.

I can deliver for a fee to anywhere in the country

Just curious, do you need to extend the frame because your 2012 is a short bed, or would a 6' long bed like mine also need to extend the frame? Thanks.

The camper measures 114 inches from the base front to back. And from my cab with my tailgate down measures 81 inches.

A local welder says he can extend my frame without moving axels but I'm just nervous about what I've got my self into

Just a thought. The rear axle should be a 1 ton axle. Toyota sent out some that were 3/4 tone and they needed to do a recal on them as they were not strong enough.

I do not know if all Toyota trucks have the rear springs with the leaf spring centering bolt the hole is not centered by about 2 1/2" to 2 ' (If I remember correctly). This could effect the wheel well alignment. You may need to check this out, to get it to workout smoother.
All of thats above my skillset and pay grade. Which is why I'm here selling a dream and settling for average joe

What is the length from the front of the camper where is abuts the back of the cab to the center of the wheel well? On a truck the cab to axle measurement?

To Infinity and Beyond!
This camper will be IMMENSELY easier to sell if you put the camper back on the original truck chassis. That way most anyone could have this truck camper combo easily shipped/transported anywhere in the USA via a commercial vehicle hauler AND maybe choose to restore the original truck/camper combo if desired.

The way it is now with the camper separated from the chassis any buyer such as ME is beholden to you for delivery. I am positive that your time and gas expense for delivery is much more expensive than what it would cost me to ship the truck/camper together to my door via a commercial carrier.

I ship vehicles all the time. As cheap as vehicle shipping rates are now if a vehicle is 200 miles or farther from me I can ship a vehicle for much less than it would cost me in time, money and potential breakdown cost to go git it myself. With this camper shell GUTTED and removed from the truck chassis you have structural issues to consider when shipping not to damage the fiberglass shell. This means way MO MONEY and a specialized flat bed carrier in world of commercial shipping to move this camper in its current condition.

Something you as the seller should think about!

Also where are you located???
