I'd like to show up! I'll be running down from Phoenix to join... Samantha won't be available this time.

How about some loose directions to this Circle K?

Looking forward to it!

Glad you're comin down Greg!!

Get off I-10 at Prince and take the frontage road down to Grant rd. Turn left on Grant and stay on it until it makes a turn to the south, then turn left on Tanque Verde Road. Stay on that until about a mile or so past Houghton. The Circle K will be on the left.

Night Runs in Arizona are awesome. We did Battleaxe into the Coke Ovens and out Box Canyon last year. Great trail at night!!

Hey Alvin,

Sounds like a great way to spend an evening. I would still just like to ride along in your rig for now though. Not ready to do anything with out under belly and rocker protection.

I might be able to talk the wife into coming along also if thats cool.

this trail is very mild, only a few spots that are challenging and those are extremely optional. I wouldn't hesitate to take a stock 100 through there (I took my stock Suzuki Vitara (29-inch tires vs 27-inch factory tires, nothing else) through with no problems)

Join us, it will be fun.

Really, there is only one hill climb that offers much of a challenge....but even that looks much worse than it really is. No ground clearance issues with a stock cruiser....

How long do you guys expect the run to take? I might skip out of work a little early if you don't plan on spending all night on the trail....

my guess, with only a couple of vehicles, is we'd be off the trail by midnightish. Although, I'm certainly in no hurry to leave the cool of the mountains. Don't know Alvin's schedule, but if we could push it back a bit to accomodate you that is fine (plus you are good at playing catch-up if you know where we are). Love to have you.

Greg, are you going to camp? Can't wait to see the Tacoma in person.

Let's run East to West. Cool?

talked to the wife, she is coming also! I will be taking the cruiser on it's first trail run!

Alvin, I have some OEM parts coming from dan. should be here by Friday.

PCV valve and hoses
all engine belts.
spark plugs ,wires, cap and rotor,
large air intake hose.

any chance I could swing by and wrench a bit on the cruiser Saturday afternoon? i would do it at the apartment but I could use some guidance.

Getting off the trail at midnight means getting home around 1am, and to bed around 2am....not gonna work with me getting up at 5am to pull a 12 hour shift.

I don't want to rush you guys just so I can get some sleep. I'll have to skip this one...

Camp! Hadn't even considered it... I have no schedule constraints. Maybe I'll bring the basics and make an impromptu judgement call. Tomorrow is the last day of summer school so I'll be 100% in vacation mode.

Night runs are so great... This is going to be sweet!

Jeff- I feel like a guy with a hot new girlfriend. I'm more than happy to show her off! Last week I installed rock sliders and official license plate. I guess the novelty of wheeling with a temporary plate is over...

Evan, thats some easy stuff to do. About 2-3 hours tops. If you want we can knock it out on saturday before we wheel. Wire up those lights, that will be a big help on this run. This is an easy trail, but you're welcome to ride in my rig if you're not sure about it.
This is gonna be fun!

This trip is too sweet to miss! Even if I can't fix the air leak in my rear lift bags this weekend, I'm still joining you on this run.:wings: I figure with not much of a rear weight load, my normal OME spring will handle it fine. I only have them installed to handle full cargo loads while towing a trailer. I have some minor wrenching to do Saturday but I'll be ready. What time do you want to meet at the circle K?
