Hey guys and girls (People) just wanted to share my overland build with everyone. My wife and i are planing to zig and zag across the Us Mexico and Canada with our little furry friend Havoc (Parson Russell). So we made a list of every thing we thought we would need and this is what we came up with. Were getting on nicely with the build here are some photos.
Truck: 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD 4x4 4 door 6.6 bed
Installed:
Suspension: 2inch lift, Bilstein 5100 and Moog bushings /A arm, pitman
Tires: 33x12.5 Wrangler Duratrac on 16in rim with 1in offset
Lighting

Camping:
Here is where things get a bit interesting we decided to go with a HD contractors rack and deck it with T&G 2x6 calked and truck bed lined to make a completely waterproofed top. Then we sewed up some fabric roll down sides to make our tent with Magnetic closers to the side of the truck as well as a sailboat style tramp grommet closer on the inside.
For the inside the bed we went with the Decked storage with the sleeping pad on top. One drawer of the decked system will be devoted to fast camping and cooking setup
the other one will be for kite gear and tools.
