I have up for sale a fully restored 1988 Land Rover defender 110 pickup truck. It has a fully reconditioned 2.5 Turbo Diesel motor. It runs and drives perfect, gets 30+ mpg and can cruise at 65 mph comfortably. It is a frame off restoration with every thing from gaskets to nuts and bolts replaced. This is a one of a kind vehicle and the only one like it in the world. It is Washington state licensed, registered, and titled.
List of work carried out and new parts:
BODY - The body has been stripped and repainted in Land Rover Puma BLACK. The nose has been modernized with a heavy duty bumper, Puma grill and headlight finishers with a Puma bonnet. A new Safari snorkel, light bar with 4 spot lights, and side step bars have been mounted. - All parts that needed to be changed have been replaced by new ones, from screws to rubbers.
INTERIOR - The interior has been upgraded with new Exmoor Trim Diamond Style XS leather seats, rubber and carpet matting. - The load space has been upgraded with custom made brand new galvanized wheel arches, reinforced gorgeous stained wood with aluminum strips.
ENGINE - The complete engine is reconditioned. All parts that are subject to wear were replaced, such as valves, rubbers, gaskets, timing belt, water pump, injectors, glow plugs, hoses, belts and so on. - Further new parts in the engine bay are: Fuel pump, diesel filter, oil filter, clutch and all its components such as release bearing, master and slave cylinder.
CHASSIS - The whole chassis has been cleaned to bare metal, treated with anti-rust and coated. The front outriggers have been replaced by new ones. DRIVETRAIN - Gearbox, transfer box, axles and differentials: all oils and lubricants are new. Clutch system is new, front prop shaft replaced with a new one including joints. The drivetrain has been completely checked and works perfect.
BRAKES and SUSPENSION - Brakes all around are new: discs, calipers, pads, drums, shoes and so on. - 4 New springs and 4 new heavy duty shocks were installed.
ELECTRICS - All the lights have been replaced with new LED lights. The headlights have been replaced with HID Xenon lights. Above the windshield is a light bar with 4 new Wipac mounted spot lights. The bumper also contains 2 new spot lights. - There is a Kenwood radio that plays CD's or you can connect your portable music device (iPod, iPhone, smart phone, MP3 player, and so on. The system comes with an amplifier and quality speakers.
Again this is a 1 of a kind very rare vehicle that will go anywhere and do it in style.
