Do you know if this would qualify for 'new' RV financing or would this be considered a 'used' vehicle? Just curious….and drooling…..
Any other info on the Outback camper? Thanks in advance!!

I had a short test drive in this truck and also had a great tour of the Host manufacturing facility and build process.
You can read my 'unofficial' review HERE
Short version is it is a great truck and ready to go truck. I was very impressed.
Feel free to PM me if you have any question.

Not sure on the financing...It has not been registered yet but there is 5900 miles on the odometer.

Price reduction

This OutBack is a great little vehicle and needs to find a new home, so we've reduced the price to $150,000. I have also included a recent photo from an OutBack customer which illustrates just how far away you can get... white sands.jpg

Yes I am curious to see what it looks like inside with the sliders closed. thanks!
With the sliders in, the 'back' is not accessible or usable on either model (2 or 3 sliders). That is the way they got so much stuff in the Fuso width limits. The bed on both the double slider and triple slider is always accessible via the cab, even with the sliders closed so it can be used anytime. On the triple slider the foot of the bed tucks into the cabinet, but it is still full length with the slider closed.
Both the double and triple sliders open in literally seconds, so IMO the not accessible is a moot point. If you were stop for a quick bathroom break, or to make a sandwich on the road, you would have full access in a few seconds (just don't park too close to the road :Wow1: )

Wow, no access. Falls into the ymmv category I guess. Having to stop to access anything is not my 150k answer. Thinking also on our ferry ride last month from la Paz I would have been bummed not to be able to access anything. Heck it would even be limiting if parked next to something or someone. But I guess the dog would love if cus the bed is always ready to go. :).

Here's a visualization of everything compacted.

It looks like if you slide out only one side you could access the bathroom, another side, the kitchen. The back slide would give you access to the couches and TV.

Point being you do not need to fully deploy to make use, but obviously only when stopped.

Hey thanks for this. Looks like if they replaced the bed with a sofa/sleeper and put in a more size appropriate toilet/shower combo there would be great access when closed. Hmmm
