As I am preparing future trips with a recently acquired truck, I hope I might save you some time by sharing my findings.
By the way, thanks to FusoFG who has helped me a lot, in particular since Mitubishi database in the US cannot be searched with my Japanese chassis number... I needed a US VIN number such as a Canter FG 93... and also good advice from a seasonned Canter -and more recent Fuso- owner !
I recall having read that DKGreene had trouble abroad with the brake drums. I remember also that when I had my truck inspected right after import, the mechanic said he could not have a good look at the brake pads without destroying the seal.
So, just in case, here are Mitsubishi references for Canter 93, so I assume it applies up to Canter/Fuso 2002, maybe beyong ?
=> Rear Drum brakes seal - Inner=MB161152 (on picture 33350)
=> Rear Drum brakes seal - Outer=MB308933 (on picture 33360)
=> Front Drum brakes seal - Inner=MB420155 (on picture 32540)
Pictures Attached
Lug Nuts: Maybe not as critical but potentially usefull since the left ones have a left thread (turn left to tighten) and the steel is quite hard to have any emergency ones made on a developping country lathe in the bush.
=> Front Axle Lug Nut - Left=MT420341 -- Right=MT420342
=> Rear Axle Lug Nut - Inner Left=MT420209 --- Outer Left=MT420211
- Inner Right=MT420210 -- Outer Right=MT420212
On the rear axle, the inner nut locks the inner wheel on the axle while the outer locks the outer wheel.
PLEASE, drop me a PM if this helps. I would be happy to share more as I learn but I dont want to take Forum space if unnecessary.
Robert
