Hi Victorian, thanks for the clarification on the "recommended" way to attach cabinetry to the walls of your composite boxes. Sorry, had two more quick questions after looking at the PDF you suggested....1) I'm guessing the "glue" shown in your PDF isn't regular glue but some kind of special adhesive, is that right? 2) Would this be the method used to attach other things like bed frames, etc. in your composite boxes? Sorry for all the questions and thanks in advance for any advice you had.

Yes indeed it is not a regular construction adhesive we are recommending. Best one is the same you would be using to assemble the camper body https://totalcomposites.com/product/marine-adhesive/

Sorry for jumping in late here but Andreas has you covered, i can't say enough good things about the glue he sells, almost odourless and food safe and one it is stuck it is not going anywhere!!!

Solid Teak shower grid floor made and installed along with the European bed spring system with a 100% natural organic latex matress.

Big workshop days... entry stairs reworked so the top step is now raised and they now slide out for use (Thanks Richard and Steve all your help and workshop use!) Next stop the truck workshop at the top of our road for the rear suspension lift - truck now sits level under load and we have a lot more rear travel on the axle. Final pics are testing the diesel hot water and heating system at night in a raging snowstorm (the perfect test environment! )Warm and cosy inside and works like a charm ;o)

Gear storage added to the roof rack - love these expedition boxes from Equipt! Their gear rocks!

Our year long build project has finally come to a close and we are both blown away with the results. What started a dream and a pencil sketch has now grown into an off-grid self-sufficient 4x4 expedition truck, built to travel the world. We have loved every minute of it and can’t wait for the adventure to begin! Exterior pics to follow next week.....

One small detail, I would think you would want to move the exhaust outlet from under the cabin door.

All good, that is just the vehicle engine exhaust - the exhaust for the heater is on the opposite side of the vehicle and we have no issue with fumes etc ;o)

I did the same Froli system in my Transit build - love it! Loving your build. I thought my Transit would be the last build before retirement, but you're giving me second thoughts...

I was about to order the Froli system too... Till I visited Ikea yesterday... Picked up a wooden slat system for $20. Main function is to keep the mattress elevated to have air flow and more comfort.
