The drain plug on my fuel filter leaks with a steady drip when the engine is running. The plug is clearly not seating as it should (it's like a cross between a banjo bolt and a brake bleed nipple). Is there a rubber seat inside the housing, or is it just plastic on plastic?

Could I replace it with an o-ring bolt which would seal against the rim of the housing where the plug enters? Feasible?
