Fuso fuel filter drain

The drain plug on my fuel filter leaks with a steady drip when the engine is running. The plug is clearly not seating as it should (it's like a cross between a banjo bolt and a brake bleed nipple). Is there a rubber seat inside the housing, or is it just plastic on plastic?

Could I replace it with an o-ring bolt which would seal against the rim of the housing where the plug enters? Feasible?

Thanks, Brad

Thanks for the nod. Looked at them, they are a whole replacement filter. Mine is a spin-off housing with a replaceable fibre cartridge inside, perhaps a Euro-only spec.

Yeah, thats the element. I've fixed the drip - at the moment I'm using an M10 hex bolt with a nitrile tap washer. Now that I know that works, I'll get an o-ring bolt.
