Fuso tow truck

After rebuilding the front end, new bearings, power steering leaks, fixing the broken frame, rebuilding the bed subframe, along with a million other things…the Fuso is a fully operational tow rig and working hard 💪🏻.

Building a winch bumper for it now so the front end is naked.

If you guys are ever broken down in Central Oregon give us a call 😂.

Next up after the winch bumper will be fitting 35s onto the duallys with enough room for 37s.

With the gearing on this model, I think that the 35s are a good choice.
Better speeds on the highway but not too large to reduce the low range capability.

Are you planning on using the OE rims and getting 35's? I haven't run across any tires which are larger than OE yet permit use on the rear duals on our 99 FG.

Not exactly sure what you mean by “permit use on the rear duals”.

We’re not exactly sure which route we’ll go just yet in terms of keeping OE rims or moving up to 17s

If by moving to 17" rims you also mean going to super singles, you might want to confirm that you can get tyres/rims that meet or exceed your GVM, especially given that this will be a working tow truck.

The taller tires I looked at ended up being too close together as duals. Someone posted a picture on a tire thread here within the last year or so.
