FWC Shower?

We don't have in inside shower, only the outside shower in our Grandby. We also don't regret not getting the inside shower and it's not an inexpensive option. Having said that, if you think you'll use it even only occasionally get it. Equip the camper the way you think you'll use it.

I have a 2014 Grandby with the inside shower. I have used the inside shower about 3 times, when it was really cold and I'd just hiked a lot with a lot of elevation gain, and really needed a shower. Like in Yosemite in November.

I use the outside shower more, as it is a bit less trouble to set up and there is not any moisture inside the camper to deal with. In hindsight, I may have been just as happy making up my own inside shower set up, as poster MINO above has described. But one way or the other, I want to have the ability to shower inside on the days when I need one, it is too cold or too windy to use the outside shower, and I am camped somewhere there is no 'campground shower' available.

I also have the cassette toilet, which is used a hell of a lot more than the inside shower. If I was to delete one option, I'd keep the cassette and delete the inside shower, but make up my own setup to allow an inside shower.

It is a personal decision. Everybody has different needs and preferences. However, my lady friend has no particular issue using the outside shower enclosure. She is fast, and as long as you aren't doing it with a light on inside the tent enclosure at night, there is adequate privacy.

A shower is a wonderful luxury (?) that washes away not only dirt, sweat, and BO, but (for me) helps wash away stress... since it is very relaxing. A conditioned response, I know, but it is not a rare response, especially to those acustom to that modern day luxury of daily, or near daily, showers.

Our skin is an "ecosystem" balance of bacteria and skin oils that doesn't respond well (for a lot of people) to sudden drastic changes of bathing and skin care habits, so maintaining close to a normal routine is comfortable in more ways than than just enjoying a shower.

YMMV

Some sort of lost...
I used mine in my fleet for the first time this weekend. I woke up to a soaked floor (and clothes bags on the floor) and gray water smell.

Huge hole in the rear corner of the shower pan. It is Also somehow bent into a low point. I don't know what idiot at the factory passed that but due to its location it was definitely not damaged after install.

I mostly ordered the inside shower for my wife. But it is nice for cold weather or somewhere not ideal to stand naked outside and pour soapy water on the ground.

I ordered my new Phoenix pop up with an inside shower and a cassette toilet and it's one of the best options I added. Since it was a custom camper anyhow, and I am a big guy, I actually ordered the shower/bathroom enclosure oversized. What I DIDN'T know is that Phoenix deletes the outside shower if you order the inside one, so now I am looking at adding one outside. We just spent two weeks in the camper, a lot of that time with no showers available where we were camping, and the moisture inside was sometimes a problem. It would be nice to have the outside option, when adding moisture inside just before bed doesn't sound like a good idea.

I'm thinking of just lengthening the hose of the inside shower since the head has an on off switch and I have a rough idea where I like my temperature on the knobs.

HA! That's the same thing we are doing, at least as a temporary fix. I think I would still like outside water, though. I get up earlier than anybody else that I camp with, usually, and not having to leave the door open when I want water or a shower in the morning seems like it would be nicer for everyone else. That won't help with the hammering noise of the water pump, but an accumulator tank is also on the list.
