gaia and onx question

I have Gaia and just got a new ipad (used ) wifi only I use a Garmin antennae. It found me no problemBUT all the base maps that I had loaded onto my iphone were not there. Does that mean I have to reload the maps area for use offlline on to the new ipad if I don't have an active wifi signal? idi not have to do that when I got a new iphone 15 ls year. And the same question for onx ?

Yes, you’ll need to reload the maps onto your new iPad since it’s a different device. Unlike your iPhone, the iPad might not automatically sync everything. Check Gaia and OnX for offline map settings and re-download the areas you need when you’re connected to Wi-Fi!
