I do not see the Gaia “Map” Icon (should be next to the “Trip” Icon) on the screen of my iPad. Deleting the application and reloading has not helped. Any suggestions?

I did just as you suggested, and here is their answer:
“There is no Map icon in the iPad app since the screen is large enough to always show the map.”

Well now we both know why the Map icon doesn't exist.

I don't understand. I use Gia on an iPad and still see the Gia Map app icon on my home screen. What are you speaking of ?
Got it now.
I do not remember seeing a map icon on the bottom of the running Gia app on my iPad.
I use the Gaia iPhone app so infrequently that I was not aware of this map icon.
