Here's a photo of a few heroic veterans returning from many years of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan. These warriors are from a Special Operations unit and have seen many hostile miles in terribly hostile territory. All fifteen are gasoline models.

No, I don't know which DRMO will be disposing of them. They were not yet "de-mil'd" when I saw them. I believe removal of the lighting is the only de-mil required.

Good to see they at least brought them back and didn't just scrap them out of country. Just bought my 2001 KLR jr. 2 months ago. Fun little bikes!!! Hope these all go to a good home.

Some have turned up on GovLiquidation, Looked pretty rough, perhaps removing the kickstands also qualifies for "demil"ing.
