The guy across the street has been teaching me how to weld so I thought I would build my own swing away gas can hoders.

It is a spindle and bearing setup from a trailer place and the casing around the bearing was machined and bought of the internet. I was trying to figure how I could keep the stock bumper and still carry gas and be strong. There is a bracket that comes off the frame to the 1/4 steel plate so not all the support is on the bumper.

Hey, nicely done! Like, that should be in a Ford parts catalog. I tried doing something similar for my first go at having a spare tire carrier, I had to brace the underside of the bumper BIG TIME to give it enough strength....but a factory bumper should be able to handle the weight of a loaded jerry can just fine.
