I have sourced a set of 4 stock jk rubicon wheels and tires to match my jeep and bought the steel for the trailer frame. I will have a limited time in the shop i'm welding it up in, so i need to have all the parts needed to roll it home before i start building. So i have a few questions and any responses would be much appreciated. I will be using yj springs so i was wondering where to get weld on front spring hangers. also, spring perches that would work with yj springs and a 2 3/8" diameter trailer axle and what u bolts would be required. Or, do i just use a square tube axle and drill the spring centers where they're needed. If i use a square tube axle are spring perches even needed? and also where is a good place to find wheel spacers to allow me to use the jk wheels and how thick of a spacer do i need to clear the hub. And one more question. Has anyone used extruded aluminum decking for their trailer. I saw it somewhere and now cant find it. I would describe it like t&g deck boards. Like i said i would buy parts as needed which would make the process easier but i dont have much time to build. And it's my first trailer build so it's a learning experience. I just like to be prepared instead of scratching my head. thanks
