Perfect timing - I’ve been looking for someone local (Reno) to fab three low profile boxes like these for permanent recessed mount in my home made roof rack. I’ll have to think about final dimensions some more as they will be set in 3 openings in the 80/20 frame. Can they be made up without the handles? I need to figure out how I’ll (side) bolt them in place. This may motivate a Rockies road trip. Where are you located exactly?

Wow - awesome - Great lid design - Nice welds, too! - how are you dealing with the galvanic corrosion that would result from the bi-metal contact? The aluminum walls to the zinc/steel latches/handles/piano-hinge/rivets? ... and do you offer a locking latch to secure the contents?
