Gen 2.5 and a Brake Controller?

Has anyone wired a MOnty for a 7 blade style plug in order to use a Brake controller?

I'm struggling to pull the trigger on a '98 that is clean, close and in my price range because I'm unsure of its towing abilities (mentioned in a few threads already) but I haven't found any info on this topic. If it can be wired it would help put my mind at ease that I can use it at least for this next mowing season. Ideally I should get anther truck, but the monty has so much of what I want and can use here in NW Arkansas with all the Ntl Forest land and camping opportunities nearby that I'm having a hard time passing it up.

So, I found this from Tekonsha (what I've used before and liked) its a wireless controller for the brakes, but still needs a 7blade plug on the vehicle.

And... Looks like it may not be all that impossible. Not cheap overall but good insurance like this is well worth the extra $$

All you need is a harness adapter and a few extra wires to run to the controller, etrailer has everything you need.

And a 7 pin plug cause thats what the trailer has
Do these older rigs have harness adapters? I know the newer ones do.
