Gen 2.5 getting power up to the roof

Just looking for some ideas on the best ways to get a power drop up to the outside of the truck on the roof for some accessory lights. I’m guessing I need to drill a hole somewhere but where is the best place to do it, avoid leaks, etc

I use a solar box meant for vans on my gen3. Drill a hole in the roof add the solar box and run the wires through the a-pilllar. Be sure to silicone the heck out of it.

Magnetic stick on LED floods, done.

You can run a pretty thick cable along the a-pillar window trim without it blocking your view or getting in the way of the wipers. Lots of good sticky stuff available to make it semi permanent.

Much better than drilling through the roof.
