Thanks for the quick reply Jay. I asked around and many welders say no go because it's cast iron. I asked around and apparently it's a common issue for Monty. Australian companies make nice replacement headers but shipping is gonna be pricey. I'll look at the gen 3 manifold and will report back.
Honestly, many guys who weld are not professionally trained welders, and don't know what they're talking about. I've done it before, and even with MIG, although ARC stick welding is the best method. Thanks for the quick reply Jay. I asked around and many welders say no go because it's cast iron. RPW and Pacemaker are the two that come to mind. What is this company you speak of?

The two are the ones Jay mentioned. There's a seller on ebay. Seems like pacesetters are around $500 shipped from Australia. Too bad I can't justify that cost. That's almost half of what I paid for the rig. Lol.
Here you goI will have to look into this.

Sorry to report. Gen 3 manifold is not gonna fit gen 2.5 without allot of work. Haha
I've got a 3.8... So not likely to fit if it came from an 02 with the 3.5.Hey Nick let me know if you want this gen 3, driver side. I'll text you pics tomorrow. Btw, this came from a 2002. If you have 2003and older I'm not sure if it's gonna fit.
