Gen1 V6 heater hoses - any alternates?

I know I can just order the OEM ones from overseas for way more than heater hoses should cost - so far RockAuto and another place have sent me the listed hoses and they've been wrong. Anyone located a "local auto parts store" part number for heater hoses that are close enough to work?

I believe RockAuto has one of the two required hoses. I ended up getting the kit from Megazip shipped from Japan.

Do you happen to know what they look like? I have what I recall to be one of the heater hoses in my spares box from my old gen 1 days. It’s ac delco 14054S. It’s sort of in between a U and L shape. I seem to remember going in to replace it but not being able to get my old hose off, so I just trimmed the bad portion and clamped it back on since there was enough slack.

I’m not entirely sure it’s the right one, but if it is, it’s yours if you want it and you pay for the shipping (if you aren’t able to find one locally). Shouldn’t be more than a few dollars I’d think.

I think that Delco hose is for the throttle body coolant hose, which is U-shaped. The heater hoses kind of go upward, turn and go like a foot, and then turn to the side.

i use marine grade reinforced coolant hose. the od is larger but it still takes a tight bend radius nicely.

Good thought, I should have thought of that seeing as I have a boat and my parents own a marina lol...
