2007 Expedition Trophy Champion, Overland Certifie
This tent has made the Expo rounds as I bought it from JefferyScott who got it from another Expo member.
I actually only set it up in the backyard once and in the park as seen in these pics once.
My intent was to use it with the family but my 1970 Suburban gives us a big ol' sleep inside space so time for this tent to travel onward.
So here is the massive Tent Majal in all it's glory. The great thing about this setup is you get 2 rooms with the ability to close them off from each other.
You can have a sleeping area & and eating/washing/pooping area. My wonderful wife is showing off just how much headroom you have (she is 5'6')
Plus plenty of doors/screens so you can keep the bugs out and still get a breeze. This setup could work for a family of 5 if you put some in each space.
Here is my lovely wife with the basic tent setup. This is the version most folks are used to where you can walk around inside and I would say really it is a 3 person setup with sleeping bags and some room to walk around. If you are a cot user then call it a 2 fer.
The floor is in perfect shape and very tough. I would use a tarp as a ground clothe to keep it nice but the choice is your.
The only issue is 1 of the poles has a cracked bit of plastic that is cosmetic only. No effect to the function of the pole or tent at all.
So if you buy all this from Oztent USA you are looking at $999 for the tent
http://us.oztent.com/products/viewProduct.asp?productid=43
Another $299 for the side walls
http://us.oztent.com/products/viewProduct.asp?productid=272
And another $179 for the front door to the side walls...why you would want the walls without a front panel or vice versa is beyond me.
http://us.oztent.com/products/viewProduct.asp?productid=55
So all that comes to $1480 something plus figure a $100 plus for shipping...or more....that is almost $1600 for this package.
And I am willing to get it to you anywhere in the Cont USA by UPS ground (or Greyhound) for less than a grand.
$999 with shipping is a great deal my friends.
Or if we meet up somewhere within 3hrs of Phoenix I will make it $950
So who wants this bad boy?
