I agree. Those are two of the most dated options available. Tons of new ventures have come along to try to improve upon them. Super Pacific and Harker to name two.
Ooof. Perosnally dislike both of those. To each their own for sure. SP are nice but way overpriced imo. Harker just kinda makes me cringe for some reason. I think due to their rear door/opening

I’d look into Topo toppers, snap outfitters, Trailfort, AT Atlas/Summit and and Alu Cab as well.

I was an early SP customer and only paid $6750 or something for mine. I didn't keep it long. It was not without issues but it did have lots of improvements from the early players like GFC. I didn't sell it because of those issues. I sold it for several personal reasons, mostly I think I'm just happier in a van.

I'm undecided on the Harker but I think it is ingenious on the plus side, but it's way too much tent for me and is probably very expensive, I've never looked.
