To answer the question in the original post…
Almost zero complaints in 36K miles. We had the typical hard top rear window leak (tube of silicone to repair) and the auto start/stop feature went out at 35K (new module which was cheap). All other maintenance performed per Jeep (except oil which is done every 3.5K miles). That’s it.
We have an early July 2019 production date JT Rubicon “base” model with hardtop. Only modification was to run 35s from day one. No other driveline or suspension modifications.
Used as a daily driver for 3 years. Now a weekend use truck and still on original tires (5 tire same size rotation). It’s been on many, many trails in/around Death Valley, Tronna Pinnacles, Joshua Tree, Anza Borrego, Rubicon (only early stage portions), and the beaches of the Outer Banks. Not babied but not beat to death nor a rock crawler either.
I’d buy another one. Just not at Stellantis’ current pricing scheme.
