There are only a few of us that can afford a new extreme expedition rig, this is about as close as you are going to see under 50k.
The Truck;
2004 GMC Sierra 3500, Ext. Cab. Duramax Diesel, Alison Automatic, 4x4. 155,000 miles. Very nice condition. The following modifications have been done for improved performance; BDS lift system, complete with shocks, new pitman and idler arms installed along with Cognito tie-rod kit and Pitman, Idler arm supports. Rear air bags. Rubber flexi flares installed. LED reverse lights, Tires-305/70R16 Falkin Wild Peak AT, Wheels-Black "Rock Crawlers" 16" x10" (Tires should go another 20k) Custom fabricated spare tire rack, designed to be removable also mounts jerry can and hi-lift jack.
The transfer case was rebuilt at 130k (failed due to infamous case rub. rebuild included preventive fix), A/C compressor replaced, system gone through and basically rebuilt 10/14. Waterpump and hoses late 11/14. Passenger side engine wiring harness replaced. All know issues have been addressed. This truck should go another 100,000 relatively trouble free miles. Truck blue book value approx $15,000. Value of improvements approx $5,000.
The Camper;
2010 Outfitter Apex 8, aluminum frame with fiberglass siding. Electric roof lift. Roof ladder. One of the few pop-ups with a full bath. Toilet is usable without raising roof. Camper is equipped with 3 burner stove and oven, compressor type refrigerator, water heater (propane or shore pwr.) furnace, roof air, 2 fantastic fan vents, microwave, inverter. All lights have been replaced with led bulbs. Solar panels provide up to 280 watts, 2 house batteries. Awning. Can sleep up to five, between overhead queen bed, dinette and drawer bunk. Wave catalytic heater and laguna type table leg installed. Electric jacks installed. A new comparably equipt unit sells in mid thirties.
