Its been a long time since the last time I've posted anything but here's my van. 98 gmc savana 3500. Im building this myself and using a front axle from a 79 f150 dana 44 hp with 79 f250 spindles hubs and brakes. Along with a np241 t case from a 95 chevy k2500. So far there's lots of cutting and welding.

Ill get some pics posted soon.

I used a T-case cross member from a 95 chevy k2500 and made new mounts.

Also are the radius arms frame brackets

Looks great so far.
I wish that I could do this type of stuff.
Are your components commonly used together or are you just using what you had?

I hope you didn't junk a good 1979 F150 4x4 to get those parts. That is on vehicle that I have never owned but still want.

Thanks

I don't think anyone has used this combination of parts. And no worries about the parts. The 95 chevy k2500 was a rolling chassi and only bought the front axle, the guy i bought it from had i laying around.

not much in the way of compression/up travel... why not just eliminate the crossmember completely? its only there for the lower control arm mounting..

Super cool! Keep updating PLEASE.

IMO the GM powertrain is superior, and cheaper to build/replace, especially when you get into the "LS" style era.
My buddies AWD express beats my E250 clydesdale like a rented mule.
