GMR Ambulance Build

Nice! Another ski bum :D

Do you hang the skis from their tips? I made a rack that they sit on their tails but I have no idea if that will do any damage long term

Oh yeah Java half of mine hang from tips and half hang from tails, I also have them all secured together with straps. I wouldn't think it would damage them though. Wheres your design? I'd love to see.

It was really quick and dirty because we were leaving that next day after work, but it works. I will have to rethink it now since there is a pipe in the way now...

Well,

I used a bunch of advice from this forum and it’s been over nine years since I started on this journey. It’s been the best decision I’ve ever made and after living out of it for 3 years , I was able to save a bunch of money and bought a house, so now it’s more of an extended time travel rig… anyways I figured I’d do an update.

Yup you definitely got a good starting point there, and an E350 that is already a 4x4 is a really nice plus!

As CoachGeo said, join us over on ambulancerv.com for specific ambulance conversion info.

A lot of the E-Series ambulance conversion threads on this board are actually in the http://forum.expeditionportal.com/forums/58-4wd-(and-2WD)-Camper-Vans Sub Forum, so be sure and look there too.

Unless you plan on doing a complete gut and refit of the interior, you'll find that these boxes are actually pretty well insulated already.

Fan-Tastic Vent seems to be the go to for Vents with the crowd here...

Your other questions are ones I'm asking too. So won't be much help on those (Right Now)

So I see where Gerty is from in the pictures, Is that your where abouts too? If so, you aren't to far from me, (Well, still a haul, bet less than half a day!)

I would check other options other than fantastic fans. They got bought out quite a few years ago and I've had terrible customer service from them (not wanting to cover a fan under warantee). I'd check out Maxxfans myself but would suggest you search around and see if my experience was a one-off.
