Goal Zero to Pigtail

Hey all, I am trying to power some lights and a fan. The easiest way is to connect a power source to the +/- pig tail that is pre-wired to the lights and. My issue is that I cannot figure out how to connect/allow my Goal Zero Sherpa to power it. Any suggestions on how to connect my Goal Zero to the pig tails?

You should share with us the voltage & current your appliances operate at.
Fwiw,
Looking at GoalZero Sherpa 'specs, it appears there is no 12V output available.

That is correct. I apologize for my ignorance (hence why I'm posting here)...but is there a way to take these two wires and connect them to, say, a USB-C that thens can plug into the Goal Zero somehow?

You can't use the USB outputs to power 12V lights.

There are many power stations besides the Sherpa, most of them have 12V outputs. Wire your pigtails to a ciggie plug and you are ready to go.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn’t have to be USB. I just need a way to connect my Sherpa to the +/- wires. I already have my Sherpa and would prefer not to buy a new power source as the Sherpa is what I currently have and fits in my build space much better than the more robust cube shaped power stations since it is more or less flat. Plus, I plan on double a deep cycle battery set up down the road.

If all you have is USB you can not power 12 volt lights. Does it have a 120 volt AC outlet? You could plug in a 12 volt power supply but that is very inefficient and cumbersum. It would make more sense to just use a 120 volt light.

So I have lights and fan that are pre-wired. The exposed wiring is a positive and negative end. The easiest solution would be what oldnslow said and just wire a 12v cigarette plug to that...my issues, however, is that my goal zero sherpa does not have a 12v cigarette plug in like the larger Yeti series. My question is more along the lines of can I wire something else that can plug in/connect with the sherpa

The Sherpa 100AC has (1) 110V inverter plug on the front and (2) USB-C connectors on the sides. The capacity of the 100AC is 100Wh(?).

Easiest would be to find a 110V to 12V buck transformer.
Or you could kluge a 20V to 12V buck transformer using a USB-C connector.

How long that will power your lights and fan, and how long it will take to recharge are calculations you will need to do.
