Very nice! That's the color we wanted, but could not find.

Any more details on the CB install? I was just looking at some tonight. Is the base attached to the side of the tunnel in the passenger foot well?

I used this write up and mounted the brain on the same spot behind the glovebox. I did not drill through the dash just ran the cable from the bottom.
I also utilized the Cooltech Versamount 2 to hold the Mic.

I'm doing the MORE dual battery install this weekend, and have watched their videos. Did you end up unplugging the fuse box? When I installed duals in my 2010 I was able to just move the fuse box aside when installing the tray.

Also, are you using the battery closest to the firewall for your main?

By the way I had the AEV 2.5 on my 2010 and I'm going to put it back on the 2013, it really works well both on and off road and offers much improved handling and ride.

Nice build!

The main battrrry is a Oddessey 34R
I did not unplug the fuse box either, there is enough room to work the tray without having to.

I just picked up a ARB Premium Front bumper with a Warn M8000 winch for someone on craigslist. The front end is sagging so I am going to throw on a Teraflex leveling kit for now until I decide which why I am going with my build... Also a rugged ridge front skid plate to protect the electronic disconnect.

I did drive a buddies 2012 JK with the AEV 2.5 without the correction brackets and I liked it. But mine still rides better IMO stock... I am really hoping the leveling kit works so I don't have to go down the lifted road... Time will tell

Thanks for the kind words

It isn't too bad at all. I had one installed in the other JK as well so had some experience before. I did have to barley trim the factory panel above the windshield for the switch bracket to clear. But I mean barley, like 1mm x 2mm off the corners (this part is in the instructions). Came out great I love the spod can't beat it!

:iagree: on the SPOD. Have one in the Jeep and one in the Tacoma. Makes wiring clean and very easy to add accessories.

Thanks for the info. I was hoping I didn't have to unplug the fusebox!

I had the ARB, winch and the TF leveling kit on my 2010 and it still sagged. The stock springs just can't handle the weight and over time at least with mine, it got worse. Where you really notice the difference with the AEV lift is in the cornering and braking, especially at speed. Even my 2013 Rubicon, which rides about the same as the AEV, maybe slightly stiffer, does not corner as well, most notably on freeway transition ramps. I have found I have to slow down much more without the AEV lift. The stock suspension is just not what I would call confidence inspiring in the handling department. The more weight you put on or in the JK the worse it gets.

Tire selection and pressure can also drastically affect ride as you know, so these things must be taken into account as well. Hoping to get my lift back on by the end of the month, I can actually say I miss it. IMO the stock suspension is ok, but when you start adding heavy things like bumpers and winches, it just can't keep up.

Good luck with your decisions, so many options out there, it can be tough!
