Discover why the Lexus LX 470 is trusted worldwide as one of the most capable and reliable vehicles. We can confidently say this truck has been the most dependable vehicle we've ever owned.
This LX 470 is the Lexus version of the legendary Land Cruiser 100 Series, featuring the renowned "Million Mile" 4.7 2UZ-FE engine, all-wheel drive, third-row seating, multi-zone climate control, a rear tow hitch, and a center locking differential. As an LX 470, it has all the luxury amenities you expect, including heated front seats, factory navigation, a six-disc CD changer, a sunroof, and power rear wind wings. The factory Active Height Control (AHC) system is working perfectly. We recently replaced a leaking driver's shock, which was the only issue we know about. All sport and comfort suspension settings function as intended.
This vehicle would serve well as an excellent family vehicle, an adventure rig, or a fantastic daily driver.
Over the years we've owned her, there has been little need for maintenance other than modifications and upgrades (see list below). We always use genuine Toyota/Lexus parts when applicable. The previous owner maintained extensive receipts from a reputable local Toyota repair shop. I'm happy to locate these for interested buyers. This is a truly reliable vehicle—I wouldn't hesitate to drive her to Alaska and back tomorrow.

Cosmetic Condition Notes for Buyers: To bring Alice to optimal cosmetic condition, a few items could be addressed:
- Rock chips on the front hood.
- Tears in the driver's and passenger's front seats (currently covered).
- A good carpet shampoo would be beneficial.
- The cut front bumper is for clearance. Aftermarket, one would tidy it up.
Important Services:
- The timing belt and water pump were done at 213K miles before we purchased her.
- The exhaust manifold and entire exhaust were replaced with ceramic headers before our acquisition.
- The brakes were just inspected, and lots of life left on Lexus pads.
Upgrades and Modifications Include:
- Black 16" Land Cruiser wheels (factory 20s removed)
- BFG KO2 tires with plenty of tread left
- New black lug nuts to match the Land Cruiser wheels
- Aftermarket headlight housings, protected with a clear bra from rock chips and yellowing (factory ones were in poor condition)
- New AC condenser and system recharge
- New hood struts
- Auxbeam 8-gang switch controller (bracket needs to be secured)
- Heavy-duty ditch light brackets and side shooter lights
- New turn signals to replace factory lowers
- Rock lights added to factory door lights after removing non-working step lights
- The bumper was trimmed for clearance and light mount location (for a future metal bumper)
- Fun snorkel installation (always nerve-wracking to cut into your own fender!)
- New WeatherTech hard floor mats throughout (still has the factory carpet mat)
- Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay integrated via tape adapter for the Mark Levinson stereo
- Sherpa roof rack
- New Pittman Comet hard shell rooftop tent (never slept in; old tent replaced)
- Removable rear drawer kitchen with a single-burner stove, collapsible sink, and storage cubby (the whole unit is removable and can secure a cooler or fridge on top)
- Replaced factory blower for the AC
- The entire passenger side window track and rubber were replaced, and the motor was reset
- Factory rear jump seats are included (pictured behind the rear kitchen box)
- Brand new windshield
- New DuroBump active bump stops all around
- New 2023 Interstate battery
- TRD style grill with amber DRL's
