Good quality roof racks out there?

I'm reconsidering going with a rack on my XJ, I had a cheapy Surco brand and it didn't have any wind deflector and it was flimsy.
I'm curious what you guys are running, and have been happy with?
I'd like a flat style one with a wind deflector on the front so it offers the least amount of drag.
And of course one that will be very sturdy, capable of taking an RTT in the future.

Any help/suggestions, please throw them out there!

Check out Front Runner; they make one for the XJ. I helped a friend install one on his LC and it is top notch for sure. Pricey, but looks to be well worth it. He uses his for a RTT as well.

Check out B. Lee Offroad either in the Vendor section on Cherokeeforum.com or on Facebook. These are custom built racks designed specifically for Cherokees. I have the Expedition rack and love it. That said, I don't think he does wind deflectors so that could be an issue for you.

I have a Front Runner half rack on my JKU and I am very satisfied with it.

Luckily, being South African, Front Running is one of our more affordable options.

I have a rack custom made by B. Lee Offroad (located in TN). As far as I know, he only builds racks for XJs and they are top notch. Below are a few photos of the rack on my XJ.

Front Runner racks are worth every penny in my book! The fit, finish and function are outstanding. Attaching anything to the rack is about as easy as it gets. Support from them here in the States (Left Coast) is outstanding as well.

Check out GOBI. Both are on the higher end for quality and price. They have a lower profile design or full height with tire carrier. They are hand built and custom per order, so you can get whatever you need on it. hi-lift mount, tire mount, axe/shovel mount, awning mount, tool boxes, etc.

I have an Olympic top hat roof rack. It is nice and heavy duty has gutter protectors that I have leaned up against trees with no damage other than rubbing off some paint. It is a lot bigger than the surco and mounts in 6 positions vs 4. Also I liked that it mounts to the gutters vs the cargo rails

Some pics of it on my xj
